Teaching & Pedagogy
Teaching Philosophy
My teaching is grounded in inclusive pedagogy, active learning, and digital equity. Whether teaching foundational sociology seminars or technical courses in quantitative and computational methods, my goal is to demystify how knowledge is produced. Drawing on my training as a sociologist and my professional background as an Educational Technologist at Barnard College and Bryn Mawr College, I scaffold complex learning goals into accessible, hands-on challenges. I empower students from all mathematical and technical backgrounds to interrogate data critically, connect empirical evidence to sociological theory, and communicate their findings to public audiences.
